One of the perks of working at Eat With Your Eyes is that we get to travel a lot. And travelling often goes hand in hand with discovering new and exciting places to eat. One such recent discovery is Topolabamba in Glasgow.
As you’ve probably noticed, the UK is riding a Mexican culinary wave with burrito outlets now the fastest growing type of eatery on the high street. However, great authentic Mexican food is harder to find, and when you do it’s so hard to choose what not to have if you are like me and love everything Mexican food has to offer. Topolabamba solves this problem by offering Tapas sized portions so you can easily feast on two or three of your favourite dishes or even try something new?
Taking inspiration from the four main regions of Mexico; Oaxaca, Chiapas, Chihuahua and it’s almost name sake, Topolabampo, the menu is eclectic and varied. In addition to this they’re even importing direct from Mexico as much as possible to further that authentic taste.
Great food combined with Glasgow hospitality makes this place a winning combination.
